Welcome, Lene, to planDisney! I love answering Guests' first questions to us. Please keep them coming!
If you purchase a
theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option, you typically have a window of dates (your usage window) for which you can use your ticket. When you go to buy tickets, you will select your start date on the ticket calendar, and you'll notice that the day you selected turns green, as well as other days after it. That means you can use you can go to the theme parks and water park on any of those days (up to the number of days on your ticket). For example, when I select April 11, 2025 as my start date for a 3-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option on the European website, my ticket is valid through April 16, 2025. This means I can visit the theme parks on any three days during that usage window and the water park (or other Walt Disney World Resort fun) on any three days of that usage window as well. So, just pay attention to how long your usage window is when making your purchase, and you'll know how many days you have to use the included experiences on your ticket!
Now, I've only admitted this to very few people, but...I think it's safe to tell you, too! I've never actually been to one of the
water parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort.
*insert gasp here* But, I'm pretty sure 2025 is my year to experience their magic. Why 2025? Well, not only is that the next time I'll be at the resort, but also,
all Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel in 2025 will be able to visit the open water park for free on their check-in day! But I think we'll be going more than that. My husband loves a good water park and always comments on how we've never experienced them at the resort. So, maybe that'll be our New Year's Resolution this year. "We resolve to visit the water parks at the Walt Disney World Resort as many times as possible." Now,
that sounds like a resolution I can stick to!
Lene, enjoy your time at the resort and
be sure to reach out again if you have any other questions.
Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved,
