To answer your question,
park reservations are included in the price of a theme park ticket to the Disneyland Resort. At the time of purchase, you will be asked to select the dates you wish to visit within a 13-day timeframe. I know that might feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you are purchasing for someone else, but I'm happy to share that the recipient can change their reservation dates at any time if there are dates available before the ticket's expiration. To modify their theme park reservations, the lucky gift recipient will first need to link their theme park ticket to their Disney Account by simply hovering over "My Disneyland" at the top of the
Disneyland website and selecting "Link Tickets and Passes." They will then be asked to enter the ticket ID number - which should be located underneath the barcode. After their tickets are linked, they'll need to actually cancel the reservation you made and then book a new one. They can easily do this in either the
Disneyland app (from the ☰, select "Park Reservations" under Plan My Next Visit) or on
the Disneyland website.
Once theme park tickets for Disneyland Resort have been purchased,
Lightning Lane Multi Pass cannot currently be added until after entering the park, and only for that particular day. I recommend including Lightning Lane Multi Pass with your park tickets at the time of purchase. This will lock in the lowest rate and ensure that they won't have to worry about purchasing the passes upon entering the parks. Lightning Lanes allow Guests to zip past those standby lines on popular attractions, so they can experience more on their visit to Disneyland.
