Hello Mary,
Welcome to
planDisney! Assisting a fellow Canadian with a
Disney World ticketing question makes me happy. I was thrilled when the announcement came out about the Canadian Resident Ticket offer, it's a fantastic way to save money! My family has already taken advantage of this amazing deal on tickets for our upcoming trip.
The
Canadian Resident Tickets are date-based, with a specific use window depending on the number of days purchased. According to the ticket expiration deadlines chart, a 10-day Canadian Resident base ticket has a 14-day
use window starting from the selected start date. If the ticket includes the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus Option, an extra day is added to the valid use period. For tickets purchased as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company Package, the use period begins on your check-in date and the tickets expire on your check-out date.
When purchasing your tickets, be sure to review the use window carefully. If you change your ticket dates, you’ll no longer take advantage of the savings offered on the Canadian Resident Ticket promotion. Instead, the amount you paid will be applied to the new dates, and you’ll need to pay any price difference.
I hope this information helps clarify the details of the Canadian Resident Tickets and assists you in finalizing travel plans! If you have any other questions, please stop by planDisney - we are happy to help. Wishing you smooth planning for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
See ya real soon,
Candace
