If I buy a 2 day base plus ticket, can I go to a water park on a third day after 2 consecutive days at 2 separate Disney World theme parks? (I.e. Animal Kingdom on Monday, Magic Kingdom on Tues, then Typhoon Lagoon on Wed?)…or does that require 3-day pass?

    Hi Scott,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

Scott, if you purchase a two day ticket with a Water Park option, you’d only be able to do the Theme Parks or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon for those two days when the ticket is valid. If you wanted to do three days of Park activities, you’d need to purchase a three day ticket.

If a two day ticket is best because of timing, you could do the Park Hopper Plus option. This will allow you to Park hop from Animal Kingdom to Magic Kingdom Park for that first day, then you could head to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon for your second day!

Now, if you want to spend one day in Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and at Typhoon Lagoon, I definitely suggest purchasing a three day, Water Park and Sports Option ticket. This way you have one day to experience all the Parks and you can take your time exploring all three!

If you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, remember that there are Early Entry and Extended Evening hours (subject to specific Parks/days). So, staying on property gives you even more flexibility on your Theme Park days!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you begin exploring options for your trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
