should i buy my daughters, age 4, 6, 7 there costumes before coming to dw. i have booked bbb. and should i wait until we get to the bbb before giving them to them or have them wear it to mk. i want it to be super special. open to ideas.

    Hello, Danielle!

With three Princesses in the family, I absolutely recommend buying the costumes of their dreams before you head to Walt Disney World; pack them in your suitcase (hidden!) and bring them with you to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

You can certainly get these costumes at the salon; however, having already purchased them will ensure that you have the right princess per child, the right size and the right price point. You may very well find what you'd like there at BBB (there are wonderful items there) but with three little ones, you may want to have found the best purchase price prior to your arrival, so the whole process is simpler.

Regarding wearing the costumes to Magic Kingdom, I think that you should consider if you can pull off the surprise "reveal" once the girls are in BBB or not. If you can, imagine the looks on their faces when you reveal the dress of their dreams, once in BBB, complete with shoes, jewelry, etc. If you think your little ones will turn detective on you and will spot a bag full of something as you enter Magic Kingdom, then maybe let them wear the outfits on the way to the makeovers. Either way, you win. It's just a matter of reading your girls to see what will mean the most to them.

I'm one of three girls, too, so I can easily say that, if you can surprise your Princesses in the salon with their gear, you might get the most exciting reaction from them, especially if each one is on a hanger with ribbons and such, in a way that lets them know what a celebration this is!

Have a wonderful time on your trip to WDW, and be SURE to have your camera ready as each little lady is transformed into a Princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

Send more questions as you think of them, too! We love to help!
