Hiya, Judy! Welcome to planDisney!
Browsing through the lists of attractions and shows to create a trip itinerary is one of the best parts of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. There are so many options and the combinations of experiences seem limitless. So much adventure awaits!
If you’re using the Walt Disney World website, you’ll want to go to the “Things to Do” tab on the
main page. A dropdown menu will appear when you hover your cursor over the tab and you’ll want to look for the “Activities” category. Click on “Attractions and Entertainment” and you’ll get
a list of the things to do in each theme park. A dropdown menu in the top right corner will let you filter the list by location, and just below that is a list of filters that allow you to search by type of attraction, interests, ages, and other considerations.
Another useful mouseketool is the My Disney Experience mobile app. If you open the map feature in the app, you can search for dining locations, attractions, character experiences, and other activities by location and using similar filters as the website. I always find this feature helpful for planning because it’s so easy to see where different attractions are located in relation to each other.
I hope this helps you and your daughter plan the most magical Walt Disney World vacation. Remember, you can purchase
Lightning Lane passes 3 days ahead of your visit, or 7 days in advance if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. So set your alarms and reminders now!
Come right back if you have any other trip questions, Judy. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
