Bright suns, Diana, and welcome to planDisney! I can feel it – the Force is strong with you. Let's dive into some Yoda-level insights on Star Wars Nite, the must-attend
Disneyland After Dark event for every Rebel, Jedi, and Wookiee!
You’ll be thrilled to know that your
Star Wars Nite ticket grants you admission to Disneyland Park starting at 6:00 p.m. on the event date, no reservations required. If you have a separate theme park ticket or
Magic Key Pass, and want to go into the park early, you
will need a reservation. One convenience of being there earlier is that you should be able to check into the event at a dedicated location inside the park.
If you plan on entering the park earlier in the day, keep in mind that the
Disneyland Resort Dress Code prohibits Guests ages 14 and older from wearing costumes in the parks outside of special events. That said, "bounding" may be OK – an
article on the Disney Parks Blog provides some galactic inspiration for types of Star Wars-inspired attire that may be permitted in the parks during regular hours. You are, of course, still welcome to come in more of a costume as long as you change into it after 6:00 p.m. Check out the
Special Event Costume Guidelines for a list of items to avoid, like full-length capes and headwear that covers the face. Make plans to join the
Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade and march down Main Street, U.S.A.
This event is sure to be a lot of fun. You can expect special Star Wars Character sightings, themed food and drinks, unique photo opportunities, a party zone, and even a demonstration of lightsaber skills from an elite instructor. I hope you have a chance to ride
Rise of the Resistance, too. It's one of my favorite attractions at the Disneyland Resort – so innovative and cutting-edge! Another item on my list would be a photo in front of the Millennium Falcon.
The Resistance needs you, Diana! If you have other questions about Star Wars Nite, or anything else for your upcoming adventure, don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s our mission to help you prepare.
May the Force be with you,
Kriss
