Hello, Lee, and welcome to planDisney! I hope your question means you, and your family of eight, have a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in the works! How exciting!
Sounds like you're interested in taking advantage of the limited
Southern California Resident Ticket offer, which is very smart, Lee, as it's an incredible value! This special 3-day, one park per day ticket is for Guests who reside within ZIP codes 90000 and 93599 and any Guest using this SoCal Resident Ticket must show proof of Southern California residency at the park entrance with a government-issued photo ID, which means a California driver's license or California ID showing proof of eligible residency. If you and your family are able to provide the required government-issued photo ID, Lee, then you would be able to purchase the SoCal Resident Ticket
online by selecting "SoCal Resident Ticket Offer" or
over the phone with the Walt Disney Travel Company, but, unfortunately, not in person at the ticket booth, at this time. (I confirmed this with a Cast Member, just to make sure!)
Heads up, Lee, that you will need to make your theme park reservations for all three days at the time of purchase. I know that might feel a bit overwhelming, but I'm happy to share that you can change your reservation dates at any time if there are dates available before the May 15, 2025 expiration. To change a park reservation, you'll need to actually cancel your reservation and then book a new one. You can do this in either the
Disneyland app or
on the Disneyland website. To ensure best availability, make your park reservations early, as reservation availability for SoCal Resident Ticket holders is not guaranteed for any date.
I hope this information has been helpful for you, Lee, and you'll be making your plans to visit the Happiest Place on Earth very soon. If you have any additional questions that come up, please don't hesitate to
stop by again. Chatting about Disneyland is my most favorite thing.
Warmest wishes,
McCayla
