Hey there, Neka. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Kids
under the age of 3 can eat for free at
Walt Disney World restaurants. At all-you-care-to-enjoy style restaurants like
'Ohana or
Cape May Cafe, kids under 3 are able to eat off of the buffet for free. At more traditional style restaurants where you order a single entree off of a menu, like
California Grill at
Disney's Contemporary Resort, a child under 3 can plate share with anyone at the table. If your child is 3 or over, you will need to pay for his or her meal wherever you dine but they'll be able to eat off of the kids' menu which is a discounted price.
Have you checked out the
Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers yet? It's a terrific guide all about traveling to Walt Disney World with small kids. The guide breaks down the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks attraction by attraction to let you know what would be best for your little one. There's also
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel suggestions and even a Disney Junior playlist to help get them excited for what's to come. It's a great resource you should definitely check out!
I hope this helps answer your question, Neka. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
