    If I want to buy a Beauty and Beast magic band at the Disney store now, will it just get activated at the resort when I check in. We r getting the package with tickets but my grandson wants the Beauty n Beast magic band. Just checking to see how this works

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I certainly understand your grandson's need to have a Beauty and the Beast MagicBand.  I love this MAGICAL story and I have already seen it multiple times on the big screen!  All you will need to do is link your grandson's MagicBand to his ticket.  You can easily do this through My Disney Experience.  Simply hover over "My Disney Experience" from the official Walt Disney World page and select "MagicBands and Cards."  Once the new page opens up, scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see a the word "Link." Just select this and you will be prompted on how to link your new MagicBand.  In order to make this process much easier, you should already have linked your park tickets to My Disney Experience.  If you have any difficulty, simply call (407)939-5277 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you with linking your new Beauty and the Beast MagicBand.
