    when you buy the bands separately (from the park entry tickets) do they still come in the cute box all together or do they ship the ones that are single packed? When I bought them from shop Disney website they didn’t give me the option to personalize

    That is a great question and I'm glad you found us to help!

    Guests who make a reservation at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel have the option of customizing their MagicBands by selecting colors and a name to go on the back. You can enter up to 9 characters, including letters, numbers, and spaces. All letters are case sensitive. These are the MagicBands that they ship altogether for all of the Guests on your hotel reservation in the super fun boxes. Guests who purchase an Annual Pass also have this option.

    If you purchase MagicBands at any of the merchandise locations at the Walt Disney World Resort, order them online at shopDisney or on the Shop Disney Parks app, they are all boxed separately and you do not have the option of adding a name to the back.
     
    If you decide to purchase MagicBands, you can link them online to your My Disney Experience or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. In order to use MagicBands to enter the parks, valid theme park tickets must also be linked to your My Disney Experience account.
