Hello, Julie!
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your
Disneyland Resort question. I’m glad to hear you want to create a year full of magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth with the purchase of an
Annual Passport! I’ve been a Passholder for over a decade, and I think it’s the best way to make as many theme park visits as possible for one price. Plus, as a California resident, you’re able to make monthly payments (with no additional fees) on your Passport instead of paying the whole amount up front!
If you purchase a Passport online, it will become active on the first day you enter a Disneyland Resort theme park with it. If your Passport has blockout dates, you are able to visit one or both theme parks on the first day of activation, whether or not it is a blockout day. After that first day, however, you will not be able to visit the parks on a blockout day and will have to purchase a regular theme park admission ticket to enter the gates.
Here's one more tip: You can sign in or create an account on
disneyland.com and then visit
Annual Passholders Today for information about your pass type, including the expiration day, possible blockout dates, and the many valuable
benefits available to Passholders after purchasing your Passport. I hope this information helps, Julie, and that you’re able to plan your next pixie-dusted theme park visit very soon! Please feel free to stop by again with any other planning questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
