    if i buy annual passes, when does the year begin, at purchase or redemption?

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited you plan on becoming an Annual Passholder at the Walt Disney World Resort. You are going to have the most magical year ever!

    Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes will become activated on your first day of use in the parks. This may be different than the day you purchase your pass. Apart from enjoying many days of magic and exploration, you will also get the added benefits of discounted shopping and dining as well as the opportunity to purchase exclusive "AP" merchandise and attend exclusive events. Plus, if you happen to be a Florida resident, you will have even more exciting Annual Pass options.

    If you haven't already, you must check out the larger-than-life experiences in the newly opened Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here you can shrink down to the size of a toy in Andy's backyard. We loved riding Slinky Dog Dash and seeing this land glow in the evening!
