    Hello - if we buy annual passes now, can we wait until next year to use/activate them? (The discounted DVC Pass:) thank you!

    I am so glad to hEAR you are already thinking about taking full advantage of the discounted Walt Disney World Annual Pass available exclusively to Disney Vacation Club Members. Up until January 3, 2018, Disney Vacation Club Members can save 25% on the purchase of a Walt Disney World Platinum Plus Annual Pass, which includes admission for one year to all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks (with Park Hopping privileges), Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, complimentary Theme Park parking, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads. 

    Johanna, I am happy to confirm that if you wish to purchase your Premium Annual Passes now, but wish to wait to activate them until next year, that is definitely possible. However, please note that Annual Passes purchased through this special offer must be activated for use by December 31, 2018.

    You can purchase your Disney Vacation Club Annual Pass online or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800. Then, when you choose to activate your Annual Pass, you can do so at any Guest Relations location at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or Disney Springs. Don't forget to bring your Disney Vacation Club Membership Card as well as a piece of government issued photo identification as well as your exchange certificate or will-call number.

    Johanna, don't forget that in addition to your Disney Vacation Club Member discounts and benefits, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can also benefit from various discounts on dining, merchandise, recreation and tours and Disney Resort hotels stays, subject to availability.
