Hello and Welcome, Yonathan. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
If you've scoured the Walt Disney World website in search of more information about becoming a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder you are probably having a hard time finding a lot of information. That's because the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes has been temporarily suspended. The program has not yet returned to us since the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer. I don't think the program is going anywhere though, Yonathan, because Guests with active annual passes are being able to renew for next year at this time. I think they are using the halt of sales as a way to help control the capacity at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks since they are still operating under some limitations. When the Walt Disney World Annual Passes do open back up for sales, you'll be able to find that announcement and all of the details over on the Disney Parks Blog. Be sure to keep an eye out over there.
Until you are able to purchase an annual pass, Yonathan, you have
two options for tickets if you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks now. You can purchase a standard theme park ticket that allows entry into one Walt Disney World Theme Park per day or you can upgrade and purchase a park hopper ticket. Park hopping is where you can visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. There isn't a bad option but I am partial to park hopping. I noticed that you might live in Florida. You'll also want to check out the
Florida resident specials that Walt Disney World is offering on tickets right now. There are some great deals for multi-day tickets!
I'm sorry I don't have better news for you. But I do have my fingers crossed that you'll be able to join the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder family very soon. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a great day!
