Hi. If I buy an annual pass now but it won't be activated until January, can I still link the pass to my account so that I can book FastPasses without activating the pass and starting my year?

    Hi Dawn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I have been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for the past 5 years and have loved every minute.   I am happy to help answer your question about Annual Passes at Walt Disney World.

If you purchase an Annual Pass online you will be asked to immediately link it to your My Disney Experience Account.   Once this is done you can make Disney FastPass+ selections for future trips.   You pass will not be activated until you stop by a Theme Park ticket window or Guest Relations window and show your i.d. as well as credit card used to purchase the Annual Pass.   For example I purchased my first Annual Pass in December and linked it to My Disney Experience during the purchase.  I was able to make Disney FastPass+ selections for an on site stay in February and I did not activate the pass until I used it to enter a Theme Park for the first time in February.   My activation day was the day I first activated it at the ticket window once I arrived at Walt Disney World.

I hope this has helped.  Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions for you.  It's always so fun to help out a fellow Guest.
