If I were to buy an annual pass today, could I make a reservation for a day before I activate the pass at the park? Or do I have to activate the pass before I can make reservations?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Alicia!

You’re as welcome as can be, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m happy to welcome you to the Disneyland Resort Annual Passholder family! It sounds like you are interested in purchasing a Disney Flex Passport. This unique Disneyland Resort Annual Passport offers a combination of value and flexibility. Yes, when you purchase a Flex Passport linked in with your Disneyland account, you may make up to two reservations for dates within the next 30 days, even before your Passport is activated. Also, for new Passport purchases, your first day visiting the parks can be made on a reservation-only date even without a prior reservation. It can even be made on a blockout date. It’s the Disneyland Resort’s way of welcoming new Passholders.

I love the benefits of being a Passholder. The special events, such as limited-time AP Corner and after-hours experiences are so fun. And I always take advantage of special Passholder discounts on select dining and merchandise. Plus, the exclusive Passholder Services support number is available to help answer your questions at (714) 781-PASS or (714) 781-7277. Of course, you are more than welcome to return here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for all your Disneyland Resort answers as well.

    Have a magical time, Alicia!
