If I were to buy my annual pass today but not go to the park until next month... when is my anniversary date for renewal next year. Is it the date I buy them or the first day we go to the park?

    Hi Jessica,

My family and I recently became Annual Passholders and are LOVING it! You're going to enjoy not only being able to visit the theme parks whenever you'd like, but also lots of great benefits like discounts on shopping, dining, tours, and special events. Plus, with exciting new experiences like Toy Story Land, which opens this summer, and other special events all year round, you'll be able to soak up the fun throughout the whole year!

If you purchase your pass now, you'll receive a voucher that you'll need to bring with you to a ticket window at a theme park or Guest Relations at Disney Springs, and they will activate your pass for you. Don't forget to bring a valid photo I.D. along with your voucher! The Cast Member will give you a physical card that functions as your ticket as well as proof of your Annual Passholder status for all of your discounts and perks. I'm happy to let you know that your year of magic begins when your pass is activated, not purchased. However, when you purchase it ahead of time and link it to your account, you will be able to make FastPass+ selections before you arrive, so I'd definitely recommend doing that!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica, and have a truly magical year celebrating traditions and creating new memories at the Walt Disney World Resort!
