if i was to buy a annual pass . like the platinum, could i buy my mom one and receive a discount for it ?

Hi Sage, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for stopping by with this great question.

There are so many incredible benefits to being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! You get discounts at lots of shopping and dining spots all around Walt Disney World Resort, plus free parking, access to periodically reduced rates at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, discounts on tickets for special events, and so much more. And I haven't even mentioned the ability to visit Walt Disney World Theme Parks whenever you want!

My family has three Annual Passes among us, so I can tell you that we don't get discounts on the purchase of additional passes. However, if you do buy Annual Passes for yourself and your mom, you'll have a discount when it comes time to renew next year. Also, since you're in Tennessee, if you're a member of AAA you may be eligible for a discount on your Annual Passes if you purchase through them. I'd check with your local office to see what they can do for you.

Sage, this is a great time to be an Annual Passholder! There are so many new experiences and attractions coming to Walt Disney World in 2019, and I can't wait to see them all!

I hope this helps you make your decision about buying Annual Passes, Sage. Please feel free to visit us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
