Hiya, Michelle! Welcome to planDisney!
I see you are planning a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort in early summer. This is a great time to visit in my opinion. It’s not typically as hot and humid as later in the summer and early fall, and you have the benefit of long days with lots of sunshine. That’s one of the great things about traveling to Florida!
To answer your question, Michelle, it depends. As an annual passholder that does not live in Florida, I have found success in securing last-minute theme park reservations at various times throughout the year. I just checked the reservation calendar and as of this writing, every single day in March, April, May, June, and beyond has every park available to reserve.
I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort earlier in January of this year for the Walt Disney World Resort Marathon Weekend, and I was able to secure day-of reservations during that trip. Outside of the busiest times of year, such as Christmastime, Thanksgiving, or the opening of a new attraction, reservations tend to be readily available. When reservations have booked up, it is usually for one park, not all four. While it is possible that reservations could book up for your travel dates, it’s unlikely this would happen for every park. This is speaking from my own experience, but it is not a guarantee.
There are so many great perks to being an Annual Passholder, Michelle. I especially appreciate the
discounts on dining and merchandise! The best feeling is when your trip lines up with the release of those coveted passholder magnets!
I hope this answers your question, Michelle. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at

See you real soon!
