If I want to buy alcohol in parks, I've heard UK driving licence isn't acceptable as ID but I don't want to carry my passport, is a photocopy of my passport enough for ID? Coming out with 17 of family & friends in August for my wedding

    Hi Amie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to see that you are visiting in August for your wedding!  I cannot think of a more magical place in which to get married and if you need any ideas or have any specific questions about plans for your very special day, please come back and ask us!

If you wish to buy alcohol anywhere at Walt Disney World you may be asked for Identification.  Coming from the UK myself, I always carry my UK Driving Licence with me (the plastic card version, not the paper copy), and if I wanted to buy alcohol I would also take a photocopy of my passport - but it is important to ensure that your photo is clear, and your date of birth is visible. You could also take a photo of your passport and keep it on your phone.  If you have both documents (UK Driving Licence and Passport) this should be enough.  You are correct that at Walt Disney World you cannot present only a UK Driving Licence for this purpose.

As you are only two months away from your trip (HOW exciting!!), you are nearly at your 60-day mark for making your FastPass+  reservations (if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel), and you can do this by using your My Disney Experience account.  Any dining reservations can be made online, or also by using My Disney Experience.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your visit.

I wish you the most magical of holidays at Walt Disney World!
