Welcome to planDisney, Kevin! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today.
When you purchase multiple
tickets in one transaction, like the five adult tickets you're planning to buy, you'll receive one confirmation number for the entire order rather than a separate number for each individual ticket. But don't worry! Even though it's all under one confirmation, you can absolutely link and assign those tickets to different people in your party using the
My Disney Experience app or website.
Here's how it works: Once you link the confirmation number to your account, you'll be able to see all five tickets in the "Tickets and Passes" section of the app. Under each ticket will be a button that says "Reassign Ticket," and you can tap this to choose which people in your Family and Friends list you want to reassign the tickets to. It's really simple! Depending on how you buy your tickets, you may also get the opportunity to assign them during the purchase process, so it's a good idea to have your Family and Friends list set up with your entire party before you start the transaction.
If some of your group wants to manage their own plans on their own device, no problem at all. Once their ticket is assigned to them, they'll be able to see it in their own My Disney Experience account, as long as they're connected and the plans are shared. And just like that, each person can view their tickets and even book
Lightning Lane return times on their own if they like!
So while you won't get five separate codes, you will have all the flexibility you need to manage the tickets the way that works best for your group.
Have a magical day, Kevin!
