Hi! I've been busy planning our first trip to WDW as well as family reunion at WDW! We are all staying at SOG and wondering if we are able to stay for the extra magic hours? Also, we are coming from Alaska-how hot is it at WDW May 16-24?

Hi, Jaime!   May is a great time to visit Florida, though it will probably seem a bit hot compared to Alaska!   The average daily temperature is 77 degrees, with an average high temperature of 88 degrees.

By staying at Shades of Green, you do qualify for Extra Magic Hours.   You will need to have your valid resort ID with you.   The resort's website www.shadesofgreen.org has a lot of great information, check it out before your vacation.

Have a safe trip to Florida coming all the way from Alaska!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
