Busy planning for DD 5th birthday trip 12/2/12-12/9/12. Wondering if the Christmas party is worth the extra cost or will it be too much for a 5 year old. Thanks.

    Hi Christopher!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is packed full of activities and attractions that a five-year old would love, including Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, complete with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself,  meet & greet opportunities throughout Magic Kingdom theme park with some of your favorite Disney Characters, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, and magical snow fall on Main Street, U.S.A.

I think the main consideration I would have is whether your daughter has the energy to last long enough into the party before becoming too tired to fully enjoy herself.  The party starts at 7.00pm and continues through to midnight.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun experience which I am sure you will all enjoy, and maybe if you can plan to have a quiet morning the next day, it would be worth going along to join in all the fun!

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
