Hi, just have a Q about how busy the parks normally are Dec 15-22? We will be returning to WDW then, and have really no idea what to expect that week. We know that the week of Christmas and New Years is normally very busy, but what about week before?

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the crowd levels during your visit, Michelle.  You are right in that holiday crowds (especially around Christmas and New Years) can be particularly high, but your visit is timed so as to avoid the bulk of it, based on historical patterns.  Typically, the holiday crowds begin arriving the weekend before Christmas; for 2012, I would expect an obvious increase in crowd levels beginning December 22nd.  The crowds will only increase from there.  With the exception of the last day of your visit, you should be in good shape to enjoy very tolerable crowd levels.  Have a festive trip!

Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
