How busy is it November 9-15...because we are having a hard time getting into restaurants? We are thinking about changing our stay to mid October? Do you think that's a better idea?

    Hi Jeffrey,

Sometimes the restaurants are not a good indicator of how busy the parks might be. November 9-15 is during the Free Dining special offer. whenever there is a Free Dining promotion, the restaurants tend to book up quickly!

Some schools do have a day off for Veteran's Day during that same week. Like many others, we always try to minimize the number of school days my children miss for vacation. I think any week with a day off seems to be a little busier at the parks.

Before I changed my plans, I would check on the availability of restaurants, resorts, and park hours of the week I was thinking of switching to. You wouldn't want to change only to find you were still unable to make the reservations you wanted.

One advantage to October? My favorite special event in the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
