How busy is it at Disney World over Columbus Day weekend? What is the weather normally like that weekend?

I have a little bit of bad news and a little bit of good, Michelle.  Let's get the icky news out of the way first.  That is, Columbus Day does drive Disney crowds up a bit.  Anytime kids are out of school you can expect to see an upward shift in crowd levels.  It shouldn't be unbearable, but you would do best to be prepared for crowds.  The good news, though, is that the weather that time of year is quite nice.  Expect warm days and cool evenings with fewer showers than Orlando experiences in summer months.  Enjoy your trip!
