Are buses running to the parks from the resorts the mornings of the 2014 Marathon as they normally would? We are just planning on being in the parks during that time, and not in the races or have anyone running.

    Hi Linda!

Yes, the buses will be running from the resorts to the parks as usual during marathon weekend.  They may take alternate routes, due to road closures, but the drivers handle it all amazingly well.

Sunday will be the only day you will notice a lot of road closures.  That is the day of the full marathon (26.2 miles), so it requires more area and longer times.

This will be the 21st year that Disney has run the marathon, so they are quite experienced with all aspects and everything runs very smoothly:)

I hope you have a great trip!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
