Are there buses that run from the Boardwalk to the different resorts? Was thinking about going to the Boardwalk one evening during our visit because it says they are open to 2am just wondering if there was a way to get back to The cabins at FW if we do

    Hey Tammy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to answer another one of your great questions. Thank you for sending us your question about Walt Disney World Resort complimentary transportation.

Unfortunately, there is no direct transportation from Disney’s BoardWalk to The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. If you plan on staying at Disney’s BoardWalk until the late hours or the night or after the theme parks have closed, you will need to use private transportation, a taxi or a ride-sharing service such as Uber.

If you want to return to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort during regular theme park hours, you can take boat transportation or walk over to Epcot (a short walk from Disney’s BoardWalk) and then use one of the buses to travel to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

Mom’s Tip: Please visit this link to check Park Hours and Calendars for the day you are planning to visit Disney’s BoardWalk. Please remember that Resort transportation runs for approximately 1 hour after theme park closing time.

Tammy, if you have any other questions please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are always here to help you before, during and after your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Wishing you an Unforgettable Vacation,
