Is there buses that go to Disney Springs from Art of Animation? And how long does it take? Also how long does it take to get from Disney Springs to the parks?

    Hi Monica,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I do love all the fanciful fun and whimsy at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and I'm sure you have lots of magic awaiting you.

I also love spending time at Disney Springs. Walt Disney World Bus Service does provide transportation from resort hotels to Disney Springs. You can use the convenient My Disney Experience mobile app to easily see when the next bus will depart your resort. You can also use the My Disney Experience mobile app to get directions and travel times between locations around Walt Disney World. While the ride might be short, when it comes to planning travel time, I personally always give myself at least an an hour to get where I need to be, especially if I'm planning to arrive for a specific time such as a dinner reservation. Typically, the restaurant reservation conformation emails remind Guests to allow 90 minutes to travel.

Bus service from the theme parks to Disney Springs is one-way. An option to explore is to take a bus from Disney Springs to the closest resort and then take transportation to the theme park. For example, you could travel by bus from Disney Springs to Disney's Contemporary Resort and walk over to Magic Kingdom Park or take the Monorail. You can use the "Get Directions" feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app to view the best route to your destination.

Monica, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
