Are there buses in Downtown Disney that run between Marketplace and West Side? If so, how often do they run? Are there any other transportation options between the two locations?

Hi Jackie, As of right now, the Disney bus that serves Downtown Disney stops at Downtown Disney Marketplace and then Pleasure Island, in front of Planet Hollywood. There is currently no bus stop for West Side. All Walt Disney World Buses run approximately every 15-30 minutes. It is not too long of a walk, maybe about 10 minutes give or take from the Marketplace to West Side.

If you are unable to walk that distance, or just really tired from trekking through the theme parks, there is the Downtown Disney Water Taxi Service, which departs from the Marketplace with stops at Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney West Side. Just head over toward the water and look for the red flags and signs to locate the dock stops. The water taxi service runs from 10:30am-11:30pm, every 15 minutes until 4:30pmm and every 10 minutes after that until closing.

I hope this helps with your planning and that you have a wonderful time shopping and dining at Downtown Disney! Be sure to check out my favorite stores - TrenD over at the Marketplace and D-Street at the West Side for some really unique Disney merchandise!
