Skyliner; Art of Animation

    Are there buses available from Art of Animation to Hollywood Studios and Epcot? We have party members who don't like the skyliner and just want to check alternative options. Thank you 😊

    Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

    I love Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. The Big Blue Pool is always a hit with my son and we just love the colourful and vibrant theming with its larger-than-life statues and icons of legendary Disney Characters. 

    I’ll admit that we also love the proximity to the Disney Skyliner, because it really is the best way to get to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I was pretty skeptical about this method of transportation at first (heights are a problem for several members of my family), but it really has won me over. Even the people who don’t love heights said that they were able to get used to it and feel safe onboard. It’s a super comfortable and efficient way to get around Walt Disney World Resort for the people who choose to stay there. 

    I understand, however, that the Disney Skyliner isn’t for everyone. That said, unless the Skyliner isn’t operating that day or is temporarily out of service, there is no bus service or other alternate transportation options between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. If that really is a “deal breaker” for you and your travelling party, you’d likely be better off staying somewhere else. My recommendation if you’re looking for another great budget-friendly resort would be my favourite Moderate Resort Hotel, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.
