Are the buses between AoA & the parks extremely crowded? We our 2nd w/ 2adults & 4kids (9,6,2,17mon), I would love to bring a stroller, but on our first trip in 6/201 at the Movie Resort we often waited a long time w/ just 2kids no stroller

Hi Olivia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is one of our favorites! It is incredibly family friendly and as a family of five, I love how much space there is in the Family Suites. Another huge bonus for us in addition to all of the extra room is the two bathrooms in the Family Suites.

One of my favorite things about this “Value Resort” is the fact that you will not be sharing a bus with any other Walt Disney World Resort hotel. When you stay at the All-Star resorts you share a bus with all three of these Resort hotels. How crowded a bus is depends on the time of day, if it is a weekend or weekday, and the season that you are visiting. Sometimes early in the morning or late in the afternoon you will find that the bus is a bit crowded but I have found that a lot of guests will stand if need be so that young kids can sit.

I wouldn’t recommend that you come to the Walt Disney World resort without at least one stroller, preferably a double stroller. I think that considering the ages of your kids they will need a place to sit and relax throughout the day. The stroller will also be a huge asset to you at the end of the day when everyone is tired out from all of that magic! Since you do have some young children make sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located in each of the Theme Parks. These centers are a great place to change diapers, feed children, and just take a break from all of that fun! Lastly make sure to take advantage of Rider Switch.

I hope that you have an Unforgettable time!
