Can we take a bus from wilderness resort campground to grand Floridian

Welcome to planDisney, Cinda! Thanks for sharing your question with us!

Did you know that Walt Disney World is larger than some American cities? It’s true! With so much space, it only makes sense that they would have an array of transportation options to help guests experience everything the Vacation Kingdom of the World has to offer.

There is no direct bus line between Fort Wilderness Resort and Grand Floridian Resort, which is the case for most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. In my experience, your best option will usually be to take a bus or water taxi from Fort Wilderness Resort to the Magic Kingdom entrance, and then take a water taxi, Monorail, or walk to the Grand Floridian. You could also take a bus from Fort Wilderness to one of the other theme parks and transfer to a bus headed to the Grand Floridian.

Your optimal route may vary depending on the date and time you’re visiting, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience mobile app for the most up-to-date information. The app can provide step-by-step directions and travel time estimates to most Walt Disney World locations, and will show all the available transportation options (bus, Monorail, skyliner, etc.) based on your starting and ending points. And remember, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member if you need assistance with directions. They are always happy to help!

I hope this information is useful in your vacation planning, Cinda. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have any more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
