    Bus transportation for MCI

Hi there, Donna. I'm happy you've stopped by to be part of our world here at planDisney! We've got the "gadgets and gizmos aplenty" to help you plan for the magic so you can get all your "whosits and whatsits galore" in order before you arrive. Let's dive into your question, Donna, because, like Ariel, you'll be flippin your fins in Walt Disney World in a matter of weeks! YAY!

As an Annual Passholder, I frequently fly into the Orlando Airport, and I recommend using Mears Connect for bus transportation from the airport to your Disney Resort hotel and from your hotel back to the airport. A quick internet search will lead you to their website. This service can easily accommodate both small groups and large Disney parties, making it a convenient option for any Disney trip. To use their bus service, visit their website to book and pay for your trip in advance. After you land at the airport and collect your bags, follow the instructions provided in your confirmation email to locate your bus.

Donna, I have always found these buses to be very clean, and the drivers are kind and friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that these buses stop at other Resort hotels, which may extend your travel time to your own hotel. I mention this so that if you're making any Lightning Lane or dining reservations, you should allow yourself a little extra time before arriving at your hotel.

I know you only asked about bus transportation, but you also have the option of using a ride-sharing service. The cost may be a little higher than other options, but if you are looking to reach your Resort hotel as quickly as possible, this may be your quickest option.

I hope this is the information you were looking for. I’m not sure when your last visit to Walt Disney World was, but there are many new entertainment offerings that I hope you'll have time to enjoy. At Magic Kingdom, the new Disney Starlight parade lights up the night, and over at Hollywood Studios, you can catch two new shows: Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. If you’re still in town on November 7th, don’t miss the debut of Zootopia: Better Zoogether at Animal Kingdom. I can’t wait to see this new show!

Donna, I'm wishing on a starfish that you have a magical vacation! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us anytime. As Ariel would say, "We hope you'll have... oh, what's that word again? Oh ya, FUN on your upcoming trip!"

    Happy planning and safe travels!
