Howdy, Laura!
Welcome back to planDisney! Yeehaw! How exciting that you have an upcoming stay, kicking up your heels at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I love this special place, as it's the best of both worlds - a relaxing vacation surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, immersed in the magic of Disney.
Laura, there is indeed
transportation inside of the Fort Wilderness campground. There are designated bus stops within the property that can get you from the cabins and campsites to the Settlement, the Meadows Recreation area, and the beach. Upon check-in, you can ask the Front Desk for information about the campground bus timetables and bus stops. The complimentary Resort transportation that takes you to the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs departs from The Outpost Depot. There is also the option to rent RVs and Golf Carts to use within the campground property. Rest assured, Laura, with all these options, you won't have to giddy up only on your cowboy boots at Fort Wilderness.
Here's a tip, Laura! If you are looking for a thematic and entertaining dining experience at Fort Wilderness, be sure and book the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Dinner Show. It is a knee-slappin' good time that is sure to delight your whole family.
I hope this helps you. If you have any further questions, gallop back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you. After all, you've got a friend in me.
Happy Trails,
Keri
