Hey Laura-
Thanks for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney’s
Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks are the perfect way to catch some waves, rays (both sun and sting), slides and water attractions. You will have a splash-tastic time.
The best way to travel to either of Walt Disney World Resort's water parks from the four major theme parks is by catching complimentary
Walt Disney World Bus Service to the nearest Walt Disney World Resort hotel and then transferring to a bus to the specific water park. Buses typically do not travel from the four main theme parks to the water parks with one exception. After 2:00 p.m., there is a bus between Epcot and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park bus service is unique. Morning bus service stops at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon before Disney Springs. 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. the bus stops at Disney Springs first. After 2:00 p.m., you will need to travel by bus or monorail to Epcot then transfer to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park bus service.
Bus schedules change frequently and a known bus travel pattern could change at any moment.
Disney Dad Tip: I have found the water park walking paths very hot during the summer even though they are water sprayed to keep cool. I would bring sandals or flip flops to wear while walking around.
Laura, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
