Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joann!
I cannot wait to stay in the new Gran Destino Tower at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Every photo and video I’ve seen since it opened has been just gorgeous, and I’m loving all the new technologies,
Disney details, and fabulous dining options it adds to the resort, which is already one of my family’s favorite. Have you seen
this video about Gran Destino Tower from the Disney Parks Blog? It’s just spectacular.
As I understand it, the addition of the Gran Destino Tower has not changed the bus stop order at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Bus Stop 1, which was previously located outside El Centro, has moved to a new location closer to Gran Destino Tower, but the other stops around the resort have not been impacted. Please note, though, that operations can change when a new building comes online, so it’s possible that the order may change in the future. Crowd levels and road closures can also impact bus stop order, so keep in mind that you may experience a different traffic flow on your visit.
Here’s the current bus stop order when traveling from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to the theme parks: Stop 2 (Casitas), Stop 3 (Ranchos), Stop 4 (Cabanas), Stop 1 (Gran Destino). This is the order that the bus picks up from the resort, and also the drop-off order when returning from the theme parks.
When traveling to
Disney Springs, the current bus stop order is Stop 1 (Gran Destino), Stop 2 (Casitas), Stop 3 (Ranchos), and Stop 4 (Cabanas).
I hope you have a relaxing and wonderful time at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Joann. I hope you’ll get a chance to explore all the new offerings at the resort – I’m really excited to try the coffee at
Barcelona Lounge in the Gran Destino Tower, and can’t wait to enjoy some appetizers and cocktails with a view of Lago Dorado at
Three Bridges Bar & Grill. Have so much fun!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
