What is the bus situation like at ALK now that it is sharing buses with Kidani Village. Should we expect to stand most times? I have heard horror stories about the shared buses at the Value resorts. Please be honest.

Hi, Peg! One of the great things about being on the Disney Moms Panel is that Disney encourages us to use all of our experiences as guests to guide others. Therefore, you can count on us to be straight with you. We truly want you to have all the facts and enjoy the best vacation you've ever taken!

Our family stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge/Kidani Village during our spring break in March (one of the historically busy times of the year), and my husband and 15-year-old son did give up their seats for ladies a couple of times on the bus. Yet, given that it was during busy times of the day (park opening/closing) and during a peak season, I thought that it was not a bad statistic. AKL is a deluxe resort, and there were no shortage of buses when it came to frequency. We never waited more than 10-15 minutes for a bus going to or coming from a park.

I hope this helps alleviate any concerns you may have. Feel free to come visit again if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
