Howdy and welcome to planDisney, Rachel. We're so glad you made your way over to share this question with us. It sounds like you're preparing for your magical adventure at the Disneyland Resort and I'm delighted to help.
Great news, Rachel. The buses from the
Toy Story Parking Area can accommodate most mobility devices. Wheelchairs and ECVs must fit on the transportation vehicle without being forced onto lifts, ramps and in designated spaces. The device must also be able to be securely fastened via restraints once in the vehicle. You may also want to consider the
Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures as they both offer parking for Guests with disabilities. A valid disabled parking placard is required and you can use the tram service or Guests with mobility devices can use the Shuttle Service transportation to the Esplanade.
I'm so excited for your visit. The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing and there will be so many merry things to behold. The adorable (and delicious) Mickey Gingerbread cookie will be back and I can't wait! The gingerbread creation in the ballroom scene of
Haunted Mansion Holiday is giving me a wicked craving. My tip for securing this treat is to place a
mobile order in the
Disneyland app first thing in the morning.
Be sure to also check out the
Location Return Time service which accommodates persons with mobility devices who are unable to negotiate some of the older attraction queues which may not be wheelchair accessible. Check with a Cast Member at
select attractions for this service.
Rachel, I hope this is helpful and puts your mind at ease. If you think of any other questions as you continue to plan, please come back to see us. Until then, I wish you happy planning for your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
