Hi there, Frederick!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question - I'm happy to help!
I love the vibe of
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The bright colors and lush greenery make you feel as though you're on a tropical getaway in the heart of the islands! Since the resort is quite large, there is an internal bus system to transport Guests around the property. The buses come in handy when you'd like to visit the main building, Old Port Royale, which is home to Guest Check-In, Concierge Services, Calypso Trading Post and
Centertown Market. A few steps outside the building you'll find a lovely outdoor bar and lounge,
Banana Cabana. Stop by and try the Jamaican Frozen Runner for a true taste of paradise!
There are five distinct areas of the resort, each named after a Caribbean island. Each "island" is divided into several buildings which house, in total, over 1500 Guest rooms. The most current bus route information I could find shows the stops in this order: Martinique, Old Port Royale, Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, Aruba. (Please note, this is always subject to change.)
With the addition of
Disney Skyliner transportation last year, Guests staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort have a fun new way to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The main hub is located near the Jamaica section of the resort, and Guests can glide through the sky in the brightly colored gondolas, some which feature beloved Disney Characters! My family loves the convenience of traveling by Skyliner, and always look forward to a pixie-dusted flight every time we visit.
I hope this information is helpful in your planning. Please let us know if you have more questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
