Hi Sophie! It's great to see you back on planDisney! I'm so thrilled that you're planning a magical trip and considering spending some time at one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels—
Disney's Wilderness Lodge! This Resort is perfect for those who love magic. It has a great location, amazing pools,
beloved character dining experiences, and scenic views.
Let's talk about transportation. No need to transfer to the TTC to get a boat. Right in front of the
Magic Kingdom entrance, you can catch a ferryboat that will take you to the Wilderness Lodge Boat Dock in just a few minutes. Ferries leave every 20 minutes, and the ride across the Seven Seas Lagoon is simply delightful! You can use any transportation during your stay, including boats, monorails, and buses, no matter which Resort you're staying in or even if you're staying off-site.
Now, let's get to the fun stuff! There's no shortage of unique and fun things to do, eat, sip, and see while at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. My personal favorite is the
Whispering Canyon Cafe! It's one of the best restaurants across all the Resorts with a fun theme and all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets and shenanigans. Oh, and don't forget to try any of their milkshakes - they're simply scrumptious, delicious, and epic!
If you're looking for a nice cocktail, look no further than the
Territory Lounge! They have everything from snacks, small plates, sweets and cocktails like the Orchards Bounty featuring Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom Vodka, Dolin Blanc Vermouth, Aperol Liqueur, and House-made Pinot Gris Syrup or the Timeless Elias if you're a Bourbon enthusiast like myself. And if you're feeling fancy, they also have a great selection of wines.
When it comes to activities, just walking around the Resort lobby is already a one- or two-hour adventure with so much to see, including Walt Disney's original memorabilia, which you can only find here - it's truly an unforgettable experience! Every detail in this lobby was meticulously designed by the Imagineers, and there's a fascinating history behind it. Don't hesitate to speak with Cast Members and ask away - they're always happy to help! You can also join in on the Wilderness Lodge Campfire Activities every night from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm or even
go on a guided fishing excursion on a Sun Tracker pontoon boat that can accommodate up to 5 guests.
Sophie, I hope this information helps you plan your trip and gets you excited for all the fun you'll have at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! If you have any other questions about this or any other Resort or Theme Park,
please let me know. I'm always here to help a friend like you!
Cheers
Nilson
