Hi Dorothy! Welcome to planDisney!
Disney Transportation is one of my favorite aspects of a Walt Disney World trip! Being able to hop on a boat to get to my destination is such a unique way to travel to a theme park. You'll also have the ability to travel by bus, monorail, and even the Disney Skyliner. Each option offers its own level of excitement!
Let's start by discussing travel to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
Bus transportation from the Magic Kingdom to this resort is available directly out front of the entrance to the park. You'll need to check the bus directory outside to determine which numbered terminal you need to catch the bus from. The Disney bus will take you directly to the front of the resort.
Buses to the
Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels will operate slightly differently. These shuttle buses are not part of the standard Disney Transportation and have a separate pick-up location. You'll need to take the monorail or boat from the Magic Kingdom to the Ticket & Transportation Center, then find the bus that will run directly to the Swan & Dolphin Hotels. Since these hotels are located near a few Disney Resorts Hotels, you could hop on a bus to Disney's Boardwalk Inn or Disney's Yacht Club Resort, then walk the short distance to get to your destination.
If you are planning on eating at either of these resorts or hotels, there are some fantastic dining options to choose from.
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood is an amazing rooftop restaurant that offers small plates and dishes inspired by Spanish flavors. I had the chance to eat here on a recent trip and I was very happy I made the trip over to the Coronado Springs Resort. Il Mulino is an authentic Italian restaurant found at the Swan Hotel. The wood-fired pizzas and fresh pasta were out of this world!
Dorothy, I hope this information helps you plan your next Walt Disney World trip. Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
Have a magical day!
