Hi Rick! Welcome to planDisney!
Traveling with a large group to Walt Disney World can seem like a tall order, but it sounds like your group has a great idea of using a charter bus to get you there. Between the cost of flying or driving yourself, you can definitely save a big chunk of money by coordinating travel for everyone going. I come from a large, extended family and one of the biggest challenges of going on vacations was getting to our destination with such a large group.
While entry to any theme park will require a park ticket and park reservation, I highly recommend
reaching out to the Group Reservations line and speaking to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be able to check if there are any discounts available for the entire group or the driver of your party.
Depending on how many Guests are traveling in your group, one creative idea might be to have everyone pitch in to cover the cost of the driver's park ticket. For example, a
one-day ticket to a park starts at $109 plus tax (pricing is always subject to change). If you have 30 Guests traveling on the charter, each person would need to chip in a few extra dollars to cover the cost of the ticket.
Walt Disney World does offer
parking for large buses at each of the parks. For parking at the Magic Kingdom, you will need to be dropped off and park at the Ticket & Transportation Center, not far from the Magic Kingdom Park. You'll then need to hop on a monorail or ferry boat to take you to the entrance. For the other three parks, you'll be within walking distance of each of the entrances.
Rick, with so many new experiences coming to the Walt Disney World Resort, you are bound to have a magical time on your trip. If you are visiting the
Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, make sure to catch the two nighttime spectaculars taking place nightly at each park. They are absolutely stunning and a joy to watch!
Have a magical time during your upcoming stay!
See ya real soon!
