When is the 1st bus to Disney Springs from Grand Floridian?

    Hi Kimberley! Welcome to planDisney!

I bet you're growing more and more excited as you cross those days off your calendar and get closer to the day that you'll take off for your Walt Disney Resort vacation! Isn't it so exciting to know that if you arrive any time before March 31st, 2023, you'll be visiting during The World's Most Magical Celebration? Be sure to keep an eye out for the golden sculptures of your favorite Characters located all around the parks as a part of the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. Then, for a fun little game as you walk around, have your group keep track and see who can be the first to stop all 50 characters!

There really are sprinklings of EARidescent pixie dust all around every corner in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration, and Disney Springs is no exception! So, let’s talk about the bus to get you there. The Walt Disney World Bus Service between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney Springs runs during Disney Springs operating hours and ends one hour after Disney Springs closes. So you will definitely want to check what time Disney Springs opens on the day you plan to visit and head over to the bus at that time. In the past, I have seen the buses start running a little before opening, but there is certainly no guarantee.

I can’t let you leave without talking about my favorite restaurant at Disney Springs, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. They have by far the best brunch I have EVER had, Kimberley. And that is coming from a self-proclaimed brunch connoisseur. Everything on their menu is incredible, but the star of the show is definitely the fried chicken. So, I’d say the Fried Chicken & Doughnuts is an absolute must-have. I promise, it really is as good as it sounds. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on this menu, and the entire team at this restaurant is amazing. So, definitely ask them for their recommendations while you’re there! Now, this is a popular spot, so you will want to ensure you secure an Advanced Dining Reservation if you plan to visit. So, don’t forget to set a calendar reminder to log into your My Disney Experience account 60 days before your check-in to make your reservations. There are so many fabulous restaurants to enjoy, and I want to make sure you get to experience the ones that are on the top of your bucket list! So, don't forget to set that reminder, grab a cup of coffee for energy, and be sure to log in at 6:00 a.m. EST on that 60-day mark to snag your table.

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! Please visit us if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your Walt Disney World vacation!

    Bye for now!
