Greetings Barbara, and welcome back to planDisney. It's great to see you hEAR again!
It looks like your totally tubular stay at
Disney's Pop Century Resort is about to begin, and you must be so excited. My son and I just returned from our own groovy getaway to this resort, and during our stay, we spent a splash-tacular day at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
To reach the frosty fun of Florida's only ski resort, you will need to first take a bus from your resort to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park where you'll catch another bus to your final destination. At this time, there is no direct bus service from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Fortunately, the two neighboring theme parks are separated by just two miles, so once you depart Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you are mere minutes from the slopes.
I hope you have a super cool day on the mountain, Barbara. My family loves to chill out at the
Disney Water Parks, and we are thrilled they're welcoming Guests back home again. Be sure to
review the latest health and safety protocols specific to the water park experience. Basically, if you're not swimming, sliding, or sitting, keep that face covering on! Physical distance markers are clear and easy to follow when waiting in line for slides and snacks. Speaking of snacks, if your tummy is rumbly after climbing Mount Gushmore all day, check out
I.C. Expeditions and the
Mini Donuts cart for some unique treats.
Thanks for coming to
ski us here at planDisney, and if there's anything else we can do before your adventure begins, come back again. It's
snow problem to help our fellow Guests.
Just keep swimming!
Betsy
