Is the Burley Honey Bee Double stroller allowed at Disneyland?

Greetings, Ryan, and welcome to planDisney! As a mom of two young kids, I know how helpful a stroller can be for fun-filled days at the Disneyland Resort. Let's make sure you're set up for a smooth start to your trip.

Ryan, I looked up the stroller you mentioned, and it appears that it can switch between a stroller and a trailer. Any trailer-like object that requires a Guest to pull it behind them is not allowed in the park. However, even if you were to use it as a stroller that is pushed, the size would likely be flagged by security. Strollers can be no larger than 31" (79 cm) x 52" (132 cm). It appears that your stroller may exceed those dimensions. One other element that would give me pause – it looks like some models have a wheel or metal bar that protrudes at the front. This might be seen as a potential safety issue by security, and may be a reason for the stroller not to be allowed in the park.

Your best option may be to bring a different type of stroller. Or, strollers can be rented just outside the Disneyland main entrance – single and double strollers are available. Single, foldable umbrella-type strollers are also typically sold at this location.

I like to bring something to add to my stroller (whether I rent one or bring my own) to help me identify it from all the others. It can be something simple like a bright ribbon. You'll find stroller parking throughout both parks. We typically use the stroller to take us from one land to the next, and leave it parked as we walk to all the attractions the land has to offer before moving on.

Since it seems like you'll be traveling with little ones, here are some more tips that may come in handy during your visit:

    • The Disneyland mobile app is a great tool to use at the park – check wait times, filter attractions by height requirement or age level, see where and when to meet Characters, mobile order food (which I highly recommend), and more.
    • Take breaks to rest and snack. Attractions like the Disneyland Railroad, "it's a small world," and Pirates of the Caribbean are great for having fun while also resting your legs. And don't miss the Enchanted Tiki Room, which is even better when enjoyed with a Dole Whip.
    • There is a Baby Care Center at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. with toddler-size toilets, changing tables, and a vending machine with essentials available to purchase like sunscreen and over-the-counter medicine. There is one in California Adventure, too.
Ryan, I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort. If you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
