Hi there, Victor!
I'm glad you sent your question to planDisney! Planning your
pre- or post-cruise hotel stays now is a good idea! I always recommend arriving in the departure city at least one day before your Disney Cruise begins to avoid unexpected travel delays interfering with your sailing.
Most departure cities have designated hotels that can be booked through Disney Cruise Line. For example, Guests sailing out of
Galveston can currently reserve rooms at the Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental, the San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center, and the Hilton Galveston Island Resort (subject to change). On the other hand, Guests sailing out of
Port Canaveral in Florida have a few options, including the ability to stay in the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels at Walt Disney World. I love staying at Walt Disney World before my Disney Cruises! It's such a fun way to kick off the vacation early!
You can visit the
Departure Port page to review current options for your cruise. No matter which port you’re sailing from, be sure to
call Disney Cruise Line to book your hotel stay. This helps ensure everything is linked properly, and you may also be able to purchase transportation from your hotel to the port for an even smoother travel day.
If you haven't downloaded the
Navigator app yet, now is a perfect time to do so! You can use it to book onboard activities and Port Adventures during your
booking window. Once on the ship, it can be used to plan your daily schedule, see what's being served for dinner, and more!
Victor, have a wonderful time on your Disney Cruise! I hope you reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
