Hello Alexis!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re gearing up for a memorable trip with a larger group, which sounds like a blast. I’ve had the chance to visit
Walt Disney World Resort with my family and both sets of grandparents. I can tell you firsthand that having everyone together to experience the magic of Disney is a core memory we’ll always cherish.
While no bulk discounts are available for groups of your size (discounted room rates are typically offered for groups booking ten or more rooms), there are still plenty of ways to save money while planning your Disney adventure.
First, I recommend checking out the
Specials, Offers & Deals page on the Walt Disney World website. This page is regularly updated with promotions that can help you save on Disney Resort hotel stays, theme park tickets, and vacation packages. Offers often change throughout the year, so keep an eye out for deals that fit your travel dates.
Next, consider purchasing discounted
Disney Gift Cards from local retailers like Target, Costco, or Walmart. These stores often sell Disney Gift Cards at a discount, sometimes $5 to $10 off the card’s value. While the savings might seem small, they can add up quickly when purchasing theme park tickets, paying for Disney Character Dining experiences, or picking up souvenirs.
Another great tip is to use online shopping apps to deliver groceries and park-friendly snacks to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. My family always stocks up on protein bars and individually wrapped snacks to toss in our park bags. We also grab items like bagels, small cereals, and fruits for quick, grab-and-go breakfasts on our way to the parks. It’s a simple way to save time and money without missing out on all the fantastic dining options throughout Disney World.
Lastly, I highly recommend purchasing both the Resort Refillable Mug and a Refillable Popcorn Bucket. The Resort Refillable Mug, available at Disney Resort hotels, provides unlimited refills of coffee, tea, and soda throughout your stay, and the Refillable Popcorn Bucket can be refilled at all four theme parks for a low cost, making it a delicious and budget-friendly snack option.
Although this might not have been the answer you were hoping for, Alexis, I hope these tips help you find some cost-effective ways to make the most of your upcoming vacation at The Most Magical Place On Earth. If you have any more questions,
swing back by planDisney, we’re always here to help!
See you real soon,
Brent
