A bunch of us (2 years - 60 years) will be attending over the July 4th holiday, and I've been trying find out if any of the parks will have a special celebration for July 4th night. Is there any park to recommend over any others?

    Hello Rebecca!

WOO HOO!!!  Your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation is just around the corner!  The group you are traveling with has a HUGE age span!  That sounds like so much FUN!

As of right now, Walt Disney World has not given an official word on their 2012 July 4th festivities.  (Walt Disney World unveiled their 4th of July plans in late June last year.)  I DO know that if the festivities are like last year (2011), then your group is in for a REAL BANG!!!

Last year Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT all had major July 4th special events.  If I had to choose a Disney Theme Park to visit on July 4th, I would definitely choose Magic Kingdom.  Last year Magic Kingdom had a very special fireworks celebration called “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky."  I heard this was INCREDIBLE!!!  I don't even think the videos and pictures I have seen do it justice!

Now, be prepared that Magic Kingdom is going to be VERY CROWDED on July 4th!  Make sure you know when all the fireworks, parades, and shows will be during the day by picking a Times Guide as you enter Magic Kingdom.  Then, I would recommend securing a spot to view the fireworks and parade at least 45 minutes in advance.

If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
